Spoke & Steele is a restaurant concept drawing its inspiration from the emerging creative neighborhoods and familiar feel of downtown Indianapolis. With a menu of authentic food and drink sourced and influenced from the best of Indiana’s craft vendors and purveyors, the restaurant is led by the creativity of the chef driven cuisine and simple mixology.

The menu for the restaurant and bar is dynamic, changing with the seasons along with the techniques used in the cooking and aging of provisions. Grape vines trimmed in the fall are used to fire winter recipes, fruit tree wood pruned in the spring is used to smoke meats for summer. Spoke & Steele’s barreled cocktails and flask program are aged in preparation of holidays and special events and are anticipated features for patrons.
The craft beer selection includes ten rotating taps. Draught spirits complement a full bar and feature selections of core artisan spirits, straight from the cask. The cask/barrel program features both locally sourced spirits and barrel aged cocktails in small, five to ten gallon casks. The casks are used to mix and age proprietary cocktails, allowing them to develop deeper and more complex flavors.

The bar’s barrel blending program anticipates the seasons and features specialty releases of aged cocktails that coincide with holidays and special events, creating their own traditions for the bar. Local hops for the beer, grapes from the Great Lakes for the dessert wines, and peach grappa from the local farms all have both broad appeal and pay homage to the traditional offerings of the neighborhood restaurant.
